Mixed media | Hand-printed linocuts on four acrylic-painted plywood panels | 2.4 × 0.5 m per panel | Total length 9.6 m | 2026.
Along Our Way is a large community artwork created with more than 100 residents of Boorley Green, Hampshire.
The four panels bring together linocut images of local buildings, wildlife, flowers, pets, people and everyday activities. I arranged these images against a flowing background based on the pastel colours of 1960s Ordnance Survey maps.
The panels are designed to be displayed together as one continuous artwork. The photographs show the work installed in two rows for the Mapping the Familiar exhibition at The Arc, Winchester.
