Golden Moon Walk grew out of walks through local streets and parkland after dark. I used a ground of indigo and black, then drew a network of gold lines across the canvas with a gold acrylic pen.
The lines break up the dark surface and suggest patterns in the landscape at night. Their appearance changes as the light falls on the painting and as the viewing angle changes.
