Original acrylic painting | 40 × 40 × 2 cm | Framed | Ready to hang | Certificate of authenticity
Summer Evening Walk is based on walks through suburban streets and parkland at dusk. I was interested in the changing shapes of trees, hedges and buildings as the light faded.
I used layers of acrylic and contrasting areas of colour to simplify the scene, moving between observation and abstraction.
