Cats and Gulls depicts Lewes Road in Brighton, with its terrace houses, traffic, pedestrians, cats and seagulls. I chose this street because my son once lived there.
I carved the scene into lino, bringing together the buildings, vehicles, people and animals in a single composition. Each impression is printed by hand on Snowdon 130gsm acid-free paper, then signed, titled and numbered in pencil.
The print is supplied unframed, protected with glassine tissue and cellophane, and shipped rolled in a sturdy triangular tube by tracked and insured delivery.
