Cut Loose (Scent) shows Bruce alongside a figure wearing brogues and patterned tweed trousers. The dog's forward stride is set against the patterned clothing and the looping marks in the background.
I carved the image into lino and printed it by hand using a baren to transfer the ink. The three colours—hot pink, pale blue and midnight blue—define the figures and surrounding patterns.
Exhibited: Society of Wood Engravers Travelling UK Exhibition, 2024.
The print is supplied unframed, protected with glassine tissue and a sleeve, and sent using tracked and insured delivery.
