Fountain is based on a scene outside Southampton City Gallery, where Arlo, a dog, played in the fountain while a boy ran after him with his arms outstretched.
I made the print using the three-colour reduction linocut process, carving the block in stages to produce the different colours. I mix the inks and print each impression by hand. Each print is signed, titled and numbered in pencil.
