Open Book was inspired by a chance encounter at Heffers bookshop in Cambridge. The image shows a woman and her Labrador among the books.
I carved the image into lino and printed it by hand in black ink on paper, using traditional burnishing techniques to transfer the image. Each print is signed and titled in pencil.
The print is supplied unframed, wrapped in glassine and cellophane with a protective backing board.
